Este evento tuvo como objetivo concientizar a los actores clave de diversos sectores de la sociedad, ampliar su conocimiento sobre la velocidad en las ciudades y demostrar c\u00f3mo esto se relaciona con varios de los ODS y la Nueva Agenda Urbana.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_21116\" style=\"width: 593px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21116\" class=\"wp-image-21116\" src=\"https:\/\/www.despacio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/2018-02-09-11.18.07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"583\" height=\"437\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-21116\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Introducci\u00f3n al evento de networking: Lograr ciudades m\u00e1s lentas: hacia la Nueva Agenda Urbana<\/p><\/div>\n<p>El evento se dividi\u00f3 en dos sesiones, en la primera, las organizaciones invitadas presentaron sus iniciativas y acciones para promover ciudades con velocidades adecuadas y en la segunda, los presentadores y participantes pudieron hablar con mayor detalle y establecer contactos de trabajo para oportunidades futuras.<\/p>\n<h2>Resumen y presentaciones del evento<\/h2>\n<h3>Despacio:<\/h3>\n<p>Como introducci\u00f3n, el moderador Carlosfelipe Pardo de Despacio se\u00f1al\u00f3 que logrando velocidades adecuadas en las ciudades la calidad de vida mejora, aumenta la seguridad vial y reduce la inequidad de la poblaci\u00f3n vulnerable y de bajos ingresos. En su mayor\u00eda (el 60%) consideran que ir r\u00e1pido no trae ning\u00fan beneficio significativo y es muy inseguro. Una tercera parte cambi\u00f3 ligeramente su percepci\u00f3n: a pesar de que consideran que ir r\u00e1pido es inseguro, tambi\u00e9n les permite llegar a tiempo a sus destinos.<\/p>\n<p>Dentro de los objetivos del evento, se esperaba que los asistentes lograran establecer contactos con el fin de aumentar la coordinaci\u00f3n y cooperaci\u00f3n entre ellos.
