The publication\u00a0presents the documentary, qualititative and quantitative methods used to research this topic in Latin America. Despacio, alongside CAF, the Universidad Javeriana and the Bogot\u00e1 Chamber of Commerce, held a <a href=\"http:\/\/despacio.org\/en\/2015\/07\/16\/motorcycles-threat-or-solution\/\" target=\"_blank\">launch event<\/a> on July 2 to discuss details in the book as well as related research projects.<\/p>\n<p>This book examines\u00a0the causes, effects and forms of motorcycle use in five Latin American cities. Its\u00a0goal is to provide information to formulate public policies that consider\u00a0the various dimensions of motorcyle use while trying\u00a0to resolve their negative effects.
