The study was developed by Despacio using a low-cost, highly reproducible video analysis method.<\/p>\n<p>During one hour of observation at Carrera 7 and Calle 71, 1,454 users were recorded, including conventional bicycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, and pedestrians\/runners. The results show that approximately 49% of electric bicycles and 50% of electric scooters exceeded the established speed limit. Significant speed differences between modes were also identified, particularly between pedestrians and motorized vehicles, increasing risk levels on a two-way, 2.5-meter-wide cycling facility.<\/p>\n<p>The document concludes that although most users adjust their speed under dense traffic conditions, atypical cases persist that create potentially dangerous situations.
